1. Privacy-First Design
FocusPact is designed to help you build better habits through gamification. While we store your game progress
in the cloud to allow for cross-device syncing, we prioritize your privacy. We do not sell your personal data.
2. Data Collection & Cloud Services
FocusPact uses Google Firebase and other services to support game features and improve quality.
- Firebase Authentication: We use authentication services (Google Sign-In, etc.) to securely
save your "Bit-Soul" progress, inventory, and currency. This allows you to retrieve your game data if you
switch devices.
- Cloud Firestore: We store your game state (Bit-Soul level, health, happiness, inventory items)
and focus session history (duration, completion status) in the cloud.
- Firebase Analytics: We collect anonymous usage analytics (e.g., "Session Started", "Item Purchased")
to balance the game economy and improve the user experience.
- Camera Data (QR Scanning): FocusPact uses your device's camera to scan "Soul Codes" (QR codes)
to unlock in-game rewards. This processing happens locally on your device. We do not record, stream, or store
video feeds from your camera.
3. Third-Party Services
FocusPact uses the following services to support core app functionality:
- Google Firebase: Backend infrastructure for secure data storage, authentication, and analytics.
- Replicate API: Used for generating unique AI visual assets (such as custom "Soul Codes") if you use
those specific premium features.
- Google AdMob: Provides optional rewarded advertisements for earning in-game currency.
4. Data Usage
Data collected is used solely for:
- Syncing your game progress across devices.
- Analyzing game balance (e.g., is the game too hard or too easy?).
- Improving app stability and fixing bugs.
- Preventing fraud and enforcing fair play in the game economy.
5. Intellectual Property
FocusPact, the "Bit-Soul" character concepts, artwork, game mechanics, and underlying software are the
exclusive property of Digital Foundries.
6. Acceptable Use
- You may not attempt to hack, exploit, or manipulate the game economy or syncing mechanism.
- You may not use FocusPact for unlawful purposes.
- Digital Foundries reserves the right to ban accounts that violate these terms or engage in cheating.
7. Subscriptions & Virtual Goods
- Payments for "Quantum Shards" or other virtual items are processed through the Google Play Store.
- Virtual items and currency have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- We do not offer refunds for consumed virtual items or currency, except as required by law.
8. Health & Safety Disclaimer
FocusPact is a productivity and wellness game. It is not a medical tool. While we encourage focus,
please remember to take breaks. Do not allow the "Bit-Soul" mechanics to cause genuine anxiety
or distress; remember it is just a game designed to help you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Foundries and associated entities shall not be liable
for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application.
10. Your Privacy Rights
If you wish to delete your account and all associated game data, you can do so from within the app settings.
This is a permanent action that removes your Bit-Soul and progress from our servers. For other inquiries,
