1. Privacy-First Design
Resonate is designed with privacy as a core principle. Audio and visual experiences are generated
locally on your device. We do not stream, record, or store session audio on external servers.
2. Data Collection & Cloud Services
Resonate uses Google Firebase to improve service quality and gather anonymous user feedback.
- Firebase Authentication: We use anonymous authentication to securely manage access
to our feedback system and personalized features without collecting personal identifiers (like email or phone numbers).
- Firebase Analytics: We collect anonymous usage analytics (such as which features
you use, session durations, and app navigation patterns) to understand how users interact with the
app and improve the experience. This data is not linked to your identity.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: We use push notifications to send optional promotional
messages and updates. You can disable these in your device settings at any time.
- Cloud Firestore: We store anonymous feedback data (such as "Did this session change
how you feel?" responses) to understand session effectiveness and improve our algorithms.
- Device Identifiers: We collect unique device identifiers (such as Android ID) to
manage feature access, enforce free trial limits, and prevent abuse. This identifier is not linked
to your personal name or contact information.
- AI Query Processing: Optional text inputs for AI suggestions are processed by
Google Gemini API to generate personalized recommendations. These queries are not stored or linked
to your identity.
3. Third-Party Services
Resonate uses the following services to support core app functionality:
- Google Firebase: Backend infrastructure for secure, anonymous data handling and
analytics.
- Google AdMob: Provides optional rewarded advertisements for access to premium
features.
- Google Gemini API: Processes optional user text inputs to support Smart Session
recommendations.
4. Data Usage
Data collected (feedback ratings, session types, duration, and anonymous usage analytics) is used solely
for:
- Analyzing the effectiveness of different frequencies and session types.
- Understanding which features are most valuable to users.
- Identifying bugs or performance issues.
- Improving the overall quality of the application.
- Preventing fraud and enforcing usage limits for free and premium features.
5. Intellectual Property
Resonate and all associated software, designs, algorithms, session logic, audio synthesis methods, and
visual systems are the exclusive property of Digital Foundries.
All proprietary technologies are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and are considered
confidential trade secrets.
6. Acceptable Use
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to replicate any part of the application.
- You may not use Resonate for unlawful purposes.
- Digital Foundries reserves the right to discontinue service or features at its discretion.
7. Subscriptions & Lifetime Access
- Payments are processed through the Google Play Store. Subscription status and entitlements are managed securely within our infrastructure.
- "Lifetime Access" refers to access for the operational lifetime of the application.
- Features included in Lifetime Access may evolve over time.
8. Health & Safety Disclaimer
Resonate is a wellness application and is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat,
or cure medical conditions. Do not use while driving or operating heavy machinery.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Foundries and associated entities shall not be liable
for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application.
10. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Because all data collected by Resonate is anonymous and not linked to your identity, we cannot identify,
retrieve, modify, or delete user-specific information upon request. If you have privacy questions or
